• Selecting appropriate individualized monologues
• Acting technique discussed for monologues
• Talent will also receive their assigned monologue for final DVD

3:00 – 3:30 Break

3:30 – 5:00

• Audition for your part in the film
• Cast film
• Talent will leave with their part and their script

Tuesday – July 29, 2014

12:30 – 2:30 Everything you Always Wanted to Know About Commercials including:

• The ever important slate
• The dreaded interview question
• How to handle all types of commercial copy

Copy will be handed out to be memorized and filmed later in the week.

2:30 – 3:00 Break

3:00 - 5:00

• Review the storyboards
• Start blocking out film
• Discuss wardrobe and props
• How to develop a character
• Rehearse the scenes

Wednesday – July 30, 2014

Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Shooting a Film

12:30 – 1:00

• Wardrobe/makeup/hair

1:00 – 1:30

• Rehearse Final Camera Blocking

1:30 – 3:00

• Start to film the scenes in order with both groups

3:00 – 5:00

• Complete all filming

Thursday – July 31, 2014

• Commercials on camera with memorized copy
• Slate, interview and commercial copy with adjustments (possible playback)

3:00 – 3:30

3:30 – 5:00 Everything you always wanted to know about improvisation

Friday – August 1, 2014

Let’s All Have Fun Friday

12:30 – 2:30

• Discuss the entertainment business
• Distribute handouts and packets including materials from the week and DVD
• A – Z “A Filmmakers Perspective” Melinda and Cynthia discuss
• Screen Xanadu Entertainment commercial reels and music video

2:30 – 3:00 Break

3:00 – 5:00 Parents invited to view film and commercials

• Screen final film and all commercials
• Answer questions
• Say farewell
